Happy Birthday Aunt Audene

Today we visited Aunt Audene to wish her a happy birthday (which was Monday). We brought along some yummy chocolate cupcakes that Sydney and Lauren helped decorate and eat. I helped eat some too, of course.

We brought her and the girls a little thank you gift for watching the children on Saturday while Aaron and I went to the temple. They all survived and we are very grateful to them for giving us some time away. We had a good time at the temple and look forward to going again soon. Although, I do need to mention the little accident we had just as we were getting close to our exit in Columbia. The first words out of Aaron's mouth after he realized we had been hit were - "We're gonna make some money off of this ." Luckily, no one was hurt and nothing major is wrong with the car, just some scratches and scrapes that blend right in with the rest, but we did miss the temple session. So we headed down the rest of the way, anyway and found out we could do some sealings, instead. And what a special time it was to be in the sealing room with Aaron and much of his family. Brings back memories of 6 years ago when we were married. A very special day in my life. Anyway, I'm rambling.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Audene and Happy Birthday to Uncle Jason, too. Hopefully we'll see you Saturday at the Simms gathering at the lake.
