Record breaking heat. 100 Degrees. When will it end???
I thougth I would record some of the funny things that Missy Lauren has said recently. There's rarely a question about what she thinks cause she tells you like she sees it.
Last Sunday was Fast Sunday, which, for anyone who might not know is when we go without food for 2 meals and pray for something special and donate the money from the meals we didn't eat to help those in need. On that Sunday some of the young men come around to our homes to collect the offerings. When they drove up that afternoon Lauren came running into the house yelling..."One of the prophets is here, one of the prophets is here." It was pretty funny. Aaron and I had a good laugh.
It's been so hot here. We have been having a heat wave for about a week now, so to stay cool we've been going to the lake lot a lot. Saturday most of the family ended up down there at some point. This story was told to me when I got down there with Wyatt. I thought it was funny. I don't think Aaron thought it was too funny. Anyway, here is the gist of it as related to me.
Allan was in the water and Lauren swam up to him and asked him why he didn't have big boobs. He explained that boys don't have big boobs, girls do. Lauren hit two in one shot...she said..."My dad has big boobs." and "Ali doesn't have big boobs." I think that's pretty much how it went. Allan can correct me if i'm wrong.

Lazy 5 Ranch
The mom's and kids in our ward planned a field trip to Lazy 5 Ranch. We love to go there. It is so cool to be so close to all the animals. We were supposed to meet there at 8:30 a.m. to take the wagon ride at 9:00. Well anyone that knows us, knows that we are always late. So, of course we were late for the wagon ride. We decided to drive through in the van, which we have never done before. It was pretty fun. We opened the doors on both sides and I put Wyatt up in front with me so each of the girls could feed the animals from the back. It's kind of scary. The animals stick there heads right inside the car. Lauren was in the very back of the van screaming "get out" most of the time. Sydney had to do all the feeding. Wyatt got a little upset when the animals got a little too close. Here are some pictures of the cool animals and our fun day.

Playing at the Lake
We have been going down to the lake the past few days. Aaron has been attempting to clean while me and Wyatt sit and watch the girls swim. It is so peaceful out there. We are lucky to have such a great place to go play. Sydney and Lauren met a little girl across the lake and they paddleboat back and forth so the can play. Kelsey will be going to school with Lauren next year so we are very excited that they are friends.

I'm Back!!!
It's been so long. I've got a lot to catch up on. I have reserved some space to go back and catch up on April events so look backwards. Don't worry, I don't have a lot to say...just take a look at the pictures. I would have said more if I had written it at the time it happened. Now I can't remember so much what happened.
Thanks Brian for fixing my computer!!!

Sydney's Preschool Graduation
Look at our beautiful graduate. Sydney graduated from preschool on Thursday. What a great ceremony! They started by showing a slide show of each of the students as a baby, then in class and then in their cap and gowns. I almost started to cry, but I gained my composure and made it through without any tears. They sang a lot of the songs that they had learned throughout the year, played a song on the recorder and then got their diplomas. We are so proud of you, Sydney! Next year she'll be in kindergarten. How can that be? Sydney has loved her preschool program and teachers and she has learned so much. Lauren will be going to preschool next year, so we'll get to do it all again. I can't wait.
