Oh bother, I'm late again. So now it's two in one. I'm thankful for hot showers and pencils with good erasers.

What a slacker. I am thankful for warm, sunny days in November, knobs on my kitchen cabinets, music, my washing machine and dryer. When are they going to invent something to fold and put away the clothes??? Goodnight!

Gratitude Journal - Day 3

Well, since I'm still awake and I know what I am grateful for today, I will post my entry now. I am grateful for computers. I love my computer! If it is down or broke or someone else is using it I get all jittery and shaky inside. I am addicted. I could spend the whole day playing on it. Oh, how I waste my time. I could be doing so many other things, but I can't get enough. That's all I have to say about that.

Gratitude Journal - Day 2

Today was a busy day for us all. One of the appointments we had today was Wyatt's 4 month checkup. He is doing great! He weighs 12 lbs 4 oz now and is in the 50th percentile for height. As many of you know, we had some complications with this pregnancy and worried that something may be wrong with the baby. We had a lot of tearful days worrying and praying that everything would be alright and our baby would be healthy. Well, one week past his due date we had a beautiful, tiny, baby boy. I am grateful for this small miracle. He is precious! I am grateful for the power of prayer because I know many people prayed for him and for our family. I am grateful for the power of the priesthood because Aaron gave me a blessing, in which he said everything would be alright and it is. I am truly blessed!

14 Days of Gratitude

I am very lucky to be able to work with the girls ages 8-11 at church as activity day leader. We have a fun time and they are super girls. This week we are going to be talking about gratitude. Tis the season. I will be giving each of them a little notebook and a challenge to keep a gratitude journal, or in other words, to recognize and write down the blessings they recieve daily. I thought it would be fun to try it here, too. So for the next 2 weeks I will be including a daily log of something that I am grateful for that day. I hope you all will join me in my "14 days of gratitude". I would love to hear from all of you. Now, it goes without saying that I am most grateful for my family, for my Savior and for the gospel in my life, but I also wanted to try to remember some of the smaller, everyday things that I am thankful for...and one thing thing that I am grateful for EVERY night is my warm, comfortable bed. I make it everyday, even if it is right before I get in it, because I love to crawl into it every night. It feels so good to rest my weary body after a long, busy day. That's where I'm headed right now. Sweet dreams to you all!
